Integrated Partners has added a $600 million advisory team from Ameriprise, marking the latest example of advisors chipping away from the legacy independent model in favor of more flexible platforms.
Brick by Brick Wealth Advisors, a Denver-based practice led by Kent Zeidman, joined Integrated from Ameriprise Financial, bringing roughly $609 million in client assets, according to an announcement Wednesday.
The team will plug into Integrated Partners, a Boston-based registered investment advisor and LPL Financial affiliate with more than $25 billion in assets under advisement. Integrated has been actively recruiting and acquiring outside practices in recent years.
Zeidman’s group includes advisor Darren Levinthal along with Erica Hinrichs and Cody Bartusiak.
For Ameriprise, the departure is another incremental loss in what has been a competitive environment for advisor retention across the industry. While not a headline-grabbing billion- dollar breakaway, sub-$1 billion teams like this one represent the core of many firms’ production base.
Integrated executives said the team will gain access to expanded planning tools, investment solutions, technology and its CPA Alliance, which connects advisors with accounting professionals to support more complex client needs. The firm has leaned into that integrated model as a differentiator to help with client prospecting.
The addition follows other recent hires, including Fair Street Advisors and Pisces Wealth.
