Seventy2 Capital Wealth Management, an independent practice affiliated with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, has added a team of five financial advisors from Wells Fargo’s employee channel to its office in Red Bank, New Jersey.

David B. Clapp, Brad S. Palent, Ron S. Critelli, Michael Cassella and Christopher Donnelly joined the firm on March 6 along with two client associates, Jacqueline Bartels and Jane Kunak, according to an announcement. Clapp alone oversees approximately $324 million in client assets, according to rankings from Forbes.

Seventy2 Capital is headquartered in the Washington, D.C.–Baltimore region and operates as an independent practice within Wells Fargo’s FiNet platform, which houses advisors who run their own businesses while using the firm’s brokerage and custody services. It has grown substantially since its founders broke away from Morgan Stanley to launch the practice in 2016.

The Red Bank office, which opened in 2024, has become one of the Seventy2’s fastest-growing locations, according to the company.

“We are thrilled to be adding seven new members to our Red Bank office,” Mark Stoll, Seventy2 Capital’s senior recruiting director, said in a statement. “All of these advisors and client associates bring decades of experience in financial services.”

Clapp joins as an executive vice president and financial advisor and brings roughly 37 years of industry experience. Palent, Critelli and Cassella have 29, 23 and 25 years of experience, respectively, and also join as executive vice presidents. Donnelly, who has spent 35 years in the industry, joins as a senior vice president and financial advisor.
